Tyrolean Multi-Entrepreneur Christian Jäger Awarded the 2023 Futurum Prize for Entrepreneurial Achievement
On November 6, 2023, Tyrolean multi-entrepreneur Christian Jäger was formally honored with the German Futurum Prize 2023 in the “Entrepreneurial Achievement in Subscription” category. DNV invited leading figures from the publishing and press distribution industry to Hamburg’s MARKK – Museum am Rothenbaum, to celebrate innovators with the FUTURUM Awards in front of approximately 150 guests. Outstanding individuals were recognized for their contributions to press and digital distribution across five categories.
The FUTURUM Award in the “Entrepreneurial Achievement in Subscription” category was presented to Christian Jäger of the Jäger Group. The commendation was delivered by actor and former bodybuilder Ralf Moeller, who praised Jäger, a close friend, as a successful entrepreneur with a family spirit and a sense of responsibility towards his employees. Moeller was especially impressed by how Jäger leads his team with a focus on employee well-being. “Christian Jäger is a courageous and creative entrepreneur who continues to launch new business ideas, even in challenging times,” Moeller stated.
In his acceptance speech, Jäger appeared visibly moved, noting this was his first award as an entrepreneur. “One does not work for awards, but it’s certainly gratifying when one’s work is recognized with such a prestigious award. Subscriptions have been instrumental for me as an entrepreneur. The recurring payments provided the financial stability needed to successfully develop my numerous business ideas.”
