Promoting Education. Creating Perspectives.
With the Dr. Manfred Jäger Educational Centers, the Jäger Group is making a strong commitment to sustainable development through education. The initiative was launched in 2023 by Christian Jäger – inspired by the lifelong dedication of his father, Dr. Manfred Jäger, to education, social justice, and sustainable progress.
In close collaboration with Walter Lutschinger of the Desert Flower Foundation, the first educational center was established in Sierra Leone. Today, it provides high-quality education to 650 children – regardless of their background, religion, or gender. A core focus is the equal access to education for girls and boys, along with active educational programs to raise awareness of and combat harmful practices such as female genital mutilation.
With the expansion of the project to Tanzania, this mission continues – supporting education as a foundation for equality, tolerance, and long-term societal development.
